Annually, thousands of visitors come to enjoy the Old Florida Celebration of the Arts in April, the Fourth of July Celebration and the October Seafood Festival. The newest festival, the Nature Coast Wildlife & Birding Experience, will be held in the fall. Smaller events take place throughout the year including the Cedar Key Star Party, fishing tournaments, excellent hunting nearby, boat and kayaking events, nature tours, and community civic and church activities.
